This web site is dedicated to the warriors who flew and fought in the venerable Skyraider, especially those 40 Navy and 104 Air Force Skyraider pilots who lost their lives in combat in Southeast Asia. I especially want to dedicate this work to the last man to die flying an A-1 Skyraider in Southeast Asia, Major Esequiel "Zeke" Encinas. Zeke, peace to you, my friend.
Additionally I take my hat off to those who kept her running and armed to the teeth; the ground troops who maintained the Super Spad. And finally, to those we tried to pick up, but couldn't. God bless you all.
